The Company 

My client operate in the commercial insurance industry partnering with some of the most esteemed names across the UK. They operate under a variety of industry recognised brands and have experienced rapid, consistent and strong year-on-year growth for several years. The company are always exploring way to embed software in to the organisation to improve everything they do and you’ll be an integral member of a dynamic team working on in-flight and greenfield projects. 

 

The Role

To construct quality, reliable & compliant software for internal and external clients. Ensuring that they are always up to date with technology and passing this knowledge throughout the department. Contributing towards the development of less senior developers as well helping in the improvement of the software development lifecycle within the business.

Key Requirements

  • Ability to demonstrate previous successful projects 

  • Positive attitude towards changing requirements 

  • Through TDD approach 

  • Working within JavaScript frameworks (Aurelia Framework) 

  • Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft technology stack 

    • C#  

    • ASP.net MVC

    • Web API. 2.0

    • MSSQL 2008 - 2016 

    • Entity Framework 

    • MSMQ  / Rabbit MQ 

  • Excellent knowledge of other notable technologies 

    • Visual Studio 

    • VSCode

    • PowerShell

    • JavaScript 

    • Typescript

    • JQuery 

    • HTML5

    • CSS 

    • Jasmine Test Framework.
