My client are a highly respected full service digital agency based in the heart of Manchester City Centre. With continued growth and key client wins, my client are expanding their development team and require a Senior Front End Developer with experience across modern JS frameworks such as React & Angular, to join the team and work across key accounts to develop and enhance their E-Commerce solutions.

The Role

You will be deployed in a creative, driven and hard working development team as a Senior Front End Developer with proven experience of working with large, scalable web applications, preferably in the eCommerce space. You will posses a love of technology, solving problems and making things work and pride yourself on delivering technical excellence and delivering a high calibre of work to our esteemed clients. 

Main responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering web application interfaces that utilise the latest technologies and frameworks. Working alongside other experienced developers, you will work to deliver experiences for desktop, tablet and mobile. 

There will be opportunities to work in a responsive and adaptive context. You will be a team player, who can self-start and isn’t afraid to ask questions and a good communicator with excellent time management skills. Having exceptional attention to detail and taking pride in your work is essential.

Required skills and experience

• Object-oriented JavaScript.

• Responsive web development.

• JavaScript MVC frameworks e.g.React, Backbone.js or AngularJS.

• HTML | CSS3.

• Git.

Ideally

• eCommerce experience.

• Experience of building mobile sites.

• Working knowledge of PHP.

• Working knowledge of XML.

• Workflow automation e.g. Grunt.

• Passionate about page performance.

Nice to have

• Experience of working with JavaScript testing frameworks (e.g. Casper, Jasmine).

• Experience of working with an enterprise eCommerce platform, such as Magento Enterprise.
