The Role

Responsibilities:

Developing internal and external systems and products

Developing internal processes through automation

Writing SQL queries and optimising existing SQL queries

Testing new systems

Investigating new technologies

Communicating / liaising effectively with the management team throughout development

Creating training manuals for users

Ensuring the security and integrity of all systems and data

Providing technical assistance to staff as and when needed

Continually updating personal technical knowledge to ensure we remain innovative

 

Essential Requirements:

Computing based degree and / or 3+ years experience working within an IT development based role

PHP, MySQL

Object Oriented Programming Principles

Javascript, jQuery

SQL

LAMP

GIT

Frameworks (Laravel)

CMS Experience (Wordpress, WolfCMS)

XML / AJAX, JSON, Web Services
