The Company

An excellent opportunity for a Senior Web Developer/ Graphic Designer to work for a digital technology company that specialises in designing and building high end websites and smart phone applications for the education and childcare sector. The company is at the forefront of this innovative technology and is focusing on selling their products and services to education authorities, schools, nurseries, academies and other organisations throughout the UK.

The Role

You will play a central role in managing all aspects of Web Design in a Full-Cycle capacity. Due to the smaller nature of the company the role will involve meeting with clients to understand their design demands, scope projects, build, implement and handover to clients.

Essential Skills & Experience

Experience within either HTML5 / PHP / MYSQL / JavaScript / CSS3 / jQuery and responsive web design.
Experience in Joomla, Wordpress, Dreamweaver and other web development platforms.
Design capability in Photoshop, illustrator and the full suite of Adobe products.
Excellent communication & presentation skills.
Must have a full UK driving license and have your own vehicle.
Branding, logo & print design experience.
Animation and video production.
Internet marketing, SEO & PPC management.
Site Statistics & Customer tracking.
Payment gateway integration experience.
Strong understanding in UX principles and have an eye for design.
Be able to write compelling content.

You will posses a minimum of 2 years experience working within the digital & creative sector and must have a good portfolio of previous works to showcase during the interview process. As the company grows you will be presented with the opportunity to lead a team of developers.
